The concentration, which includes 21 pivotal studies spanning nearly two centuries, includes interpretive essays for each article written by noted science historian and author, Dr. James R. Fleming, of Colby College, who also selected the papers. Publishers/journals contributing to this premiere Classic Articles in Context collection include The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Science; American Geophysical Union,
Journal of Geophysical Research;
American Meteorological Society,

We invite all NSDL Imprint, readers, especially researchers, instructors, and students of geoscience to share their thoughts on the landmark papers presented in the NSDL Classic Articles in Context edition on global warming. We welcome additional perspectives on these classic studies, suggestions of other important articles, and parallels to current work.
