		<description>Thanks Charles and welcome to the blogosphere!  I found the seminar last night to be really fascinating, especially the studies on zebrafish.  In looking online, I was surprised to find how much concentrated effort there is on studying these types of fish that you can easily find in any home aquarium.

In the seminar, Kristina had mentioned the connections in studying heart development in zebrafish and how that related to human heart development.  I'm sure the same can be said about neural development in the eye.  My question is how does one inform the other?  That is, what conclusions can be made--if any--when studying structures and development across different species?</description>
