Sometimes science teachers are called upon to advise students on career choices.  There are quite a few web sites that offer good information about science careers.  I have collectedsome of them in Instructional Architect (IA) account.  IA is a part of the National Science Digital Library (NSDL) that allows one to gather web sites and share the collection with others. It is very useful for teachers who want to share certain pre-selected web sites with their class.  You might want to take a look at all of the projects.
